I finally headed down to Chili's while visiting the Dubai Mall. It is located on Level 1, I think, right next to the aquarium and the escalators.
We ordered Classic Fajita's, and Monettery Chicken. Fajita's were sizzling alright but not with spices!! They were just OK, nothing special. On the other hand we enjoyed the Monettery Chicken, which I think tasted very good.
BTW I was told the mashed potatoes are really 'awesome' there, but I was disappointed. Although we haven't been able to find it here, but if you get a chance to eat potato au gratin, you'd really love it. If you know where to get it in UAE, let me know :). We used to eat it at the Bonefish Grill in US. Totally awesome!
Coming back to Chili's, i think its not bad, especially if someone else is taking care of the bill :)

I donno Y chilis is so expensive here, in the US it is just like Burger King or even cheaper !!
Chili's is a bit more expensive there as well. I think per dish it is about 12-16 dollars, about the same as it costs here.
Actually, for almost all the foreign chains in UAE, you can just convert their cost in US to AED and thats how much you will pay here, which doesn't make sense!!
I think they are cashing in on their name and people just want western food here for some reason!

and yes I do Agree that here most of the people are crazy about anything western unfortunately :S
An Example is Dominoes Pizza, in the US it is not that popular, but here it is like a high class! !
And Yes nothing is better than traditional cuisines
