While I was in the Bur Dubai area, trying to unsuccessfully get my laptop fixed, I decided to head down to the BBQ Delights just to test it out.
It is located right next to Emly and Chili, well in the same lane anyway! From the outside it looks like a small place, but it is huge once you step inside. The interior is decent, perhaps right for families.
I just ordered to two dishes (since it was just me): Chicken Biryani and Bihari Kebab. Biryani because I felt like eating one, and Bihari kebab as I wanted to taste their BBQ.
In my personal opinion, you can judge the 'BBQ taste/quality' of a restaurant by the way they make their Bihari kebab. And I was disappointed!! It was too marinated, a bit 'liquidy' for my taste, and the taste was just fine, nothing specail. However, the biryani was quite decent. Over all, the prices was a bit too high for the quality: Biryani AED 28 and Bihari Kebab AED 30.
The waiters were too 'pathan' for my taste; not a very great service; talking too much amongst themselves. Not very professional.
Overall, the experience was just OK. Ain't too sure if I will go back again.

[UPDATE: 6/5/2010]
We went back to have some more at the BBQ Delights on Thursday night. It appears that they have a buffet at night (you can also order from the menu if you want), which is very reasonable: AED 50!
So, I had a good chance of trying out all their different dishes, but I still don't think they are in anyway close to BBQ Tonight in Karachi:
Seekh Kebab ... OK
Tikkha Boti ... OK
Nihari ... OK+
Reshmi Kebab... OK
Malai Tikka ... OK
Gulab Jaman ... OK
Shahi Tukra ... OK
Chicken Bihari ... OK
Chicken Qorma ... OK
Bhindi Salan ... OK-
Aloo Salan ... OK
Palak Paneer ... OK
Chicken Biryani ... VERY GOOD!
Chicken Shami Kebab ... WOW!!!
[OK means nothing special]
so there you go, that's my take on BBQ Delights. If I go back it'd probably be for Biryani, but nothing really special there. But the price for the buffet is very reasonable!

I'm not too sure about it though as I don't like behari stuff.
LOL (at the waiters)
Have you been to their BBQ 2nite in Pakistan?
