We wanted to see the countryside and some of the lakes and dams.
So we drove to Mauvoisin. It just ~40km from Sion.
The drive is again very beautiful and we felt like we were in the Shire of Bilbo Baggins! Really!
You can drive up all way up to the mouth of the bridge on the dam, or you can park your car are the resturant just before the bridge and hike up, around 25 mintues.

From Mauvoisin we headed toward Arolla, another beautiful ski resort not very far from Sion. We were going crazy: every where we go, the views were better than what we had seen before!
