Euro Trip (2) : driving cost

One thing you need to remember while driving in France: you have to pay road toll!
As an example, from Paris to the German border, you have to pay 25 euros. For us, from Rennes to Saarbrucken was 50 euros, one way!

You might wanna check this site for trip planning:

They do provide information regarding the toll you have to pay. Remember, this toll is only if you are going to drive on the highway (freeway/motoway). You may choose to drive on the country roads, but it takes more time and are not fast.

You also need to be careful about the radar detectors. Unlike in US, the automatic radars take your photo if you are speeding and will send you a lovely ticket at your home address!
