Foodie in Karachi

Karachi has a good food scene. Besides the usual top dogs: BBQ Tonight, Kolachi, Kababjees, China Town, Karachi Broast, Xanders etc, there are some new kids on the block, featuring not so traditional cuisine. These restaurants have become quite popular, especially with the new generation with their over-grown pockets.
I decided to mention some of these restaurants that I like visiting regularly. Of course this is not an exhaustive list, and reflects just my personal opinion.

Koel Cafe, Clifton
This place is actually very nice for a family dinner. The setting is quite charming. Some of the dishes that are worth devouring :

Sesame Chicken Bites

Something close to Kibbeh

Artichoke and Spinach Dip (a must try)

 Pizza (sun-dried tomatoes)

Moroccan Chicken

Del Frio:
They have many branches now all over the city. Some of their stuff is really good:

 Steak (with Avocado sauce)
 Chocolate Lava Cake (really nice)

Al'a Rasi, DHA
They started out as a Turkish restaurant, but due to public demand, or lack thereof, their food has now been spiced up. Make sure you ask for the real stuff:

Pasha Kebab and Lebanese Chicken (too spicy to be Arabic or Turkish)
This one was very tasty. Perhaps laham khubuz pilaf

Sio Bistro, DHA:
This is one of the many Asian restaurants in the city. Nothing special, but i like their Tokyo rice bowl and their Mongolian Beef is decent as well:

Bonsai, DHA:
One of their appetizer is quite interesting. Otherwise, their food was too spicy for my taste.
