Woodworking Project III

This summer I had the motivation to do another project.

We had some old windows taken out at our home and my father asked me to make good use of these. So I thought about making some benches. This is the first time I got the chance to work with real wood.

I had to clean, remove glass/net, and cut the frames to make them usable:
[cut for the base]

[the seating area]

These were around 20+ year old window frames, but the wood was still solid. And a bit too hard perhaps.
[the bottom part]

After really struggling with this one, I was asked to make another one. So, having lost my energy, and motivation, decide to go for a simpler style:

[done]
Since these were going to be placed outdoors, it's better to color:

This project was much more ambitious than the last ones. I ended up purchasing drill machine to bolt the joints. Perhaps the jig-saw needs replacement as well :)
