The cheapest option is to go with AirArabia. It is Sharjah's official airline. Mind you, they do not serve any refreshments during the flight, but you can certainly buy some drinks and sandwiches.
Working in Sharjah
1) you need to first get the VISA. That is a different process all together.
2) In Pakistan, if you are going on a employment visa, you need to register yourself with the immigration bureau. You have to get your passport stamped with something called 'Protector'.
In Karachi, there is an office near the Baloch colony flyover. For me, i just gave my passport, visa and photocopy of the CNIC to the Bukhari Travels. They charged me around 9500 Rs. Probably they charged more than what is required, but i was getting desperate.
You need a NADRA NIC,i.e. the computerized National ID Card, also you need to get an NICOP for the Middle-East. That is, the National ID card for overseas Pakistanis.
If you go to the NADRA office at the Awami Markaz, they have a separate and a shorter line for this, otherwise be prepared for a long wait. To apply for the protector, you at least need the copy of the receipt they give you for your overseas card, which generally takes 1 to 2 months to be delivered. Take with you a copy of your passport, your CNIC, or even a NICOP issued for other region, like USA.
3) Get the air ticket. Once you get the ticket, you need to convey your travel information to your sponsor in UAE. They then submit your original visa to the airport in UAE and that in turn allows the airline to give the 'ok to board' status for your ticket. If you don't get this, you can't fly out of the country.
